TITLE 42 DOCUMENTS
Allied Towing strictly adheres to the guidelines for filing Title 42’s within the State of Oklahoma. Title 42 documents are necessary to obtain a title, unless stated for salvage only. We will process all paperwork immediately and submit the required documents to the Service Oklahoma. Processing time is approximately 4-6 weeks, however can take up to 18 weeks.
The cost is $75 per vehicle. DO NOT make changes to the vehicle until you have received an approved Title 42.
These vehicles are not street legal until you’ve taken your approved title 42 to a tag agency and obtained a registration. If you are caught driving the vehicle before that you will risk having the vehicle impounded, and we have no responsibility in assisting you in getting your vehicle out of impound.
As soon as the Title 42 is approved and we receive the documentation back from Service Oklahoma, Allied Towing will contact you. You then can take the paperwork to your local tag agency and they will issue you a title and a tag. There will be fees charged at the tag agency. Although we have been successful in obtaining approval on claims, there is still the risk that an application might be turned down.

An approved Title 42 is not guaranteed. If we are unable to obtain the approved paperwork for a Title 42, your Title 42 fee will be returned. The vehicle is still yours to do with as you wish.
